Product Brief: People Detection ( V2A-PD )
APPLICATION DESCRIPTION
Face Capturing Detects a person in the scene and captures the face for storage/archival as an evidence of the person's presence in the scene.
Presence of People Generates alerts when a person is detected in a scene. Number of persons in the scene at any instance is also logged.
Counting People Counts total number of separate appearances of people in a session inside the viewable zone of the camera. The movement of each person in the scene is continuously tracked.
Tripwire/Intrusion Generates an alert as soon as a person crosses a user defined virtual tripwire. Multiple tripwires can be set in the same field of view and monitoring is done for all the tripwires in parallel.
Loitering Generates an alert when a person stays beyond a specified time duration in a marked zone. Multiple zones can be specified with varying time limits. All the zones are monitored in parallel. Statistics of the total number pf persons that enter/exit from the zones are maintained.
Zone Monitoring Generates an alert when the number of persons inside a marked zone violates user specified limits (both upper as well as lower limit). Multiple zones can be specified and monitored in parallel.
Entry / Exit Monitoring Counts total number of persons entered in and exited from the scene maintaining separate counts for left to right or right to left entry/exit. Alerts are generated if a person enters the scene from a wrong direction or exits the scene from a wrong direction. The directions of permitted entry and exit are user configurable.
Break-in Prediction Generates alerts when a person in the scene is detected as approaching a specified zone. This can be very useful as a safety measure.
